First time I have logged on here in ages, as always harry you have set up a lovely thread. Quite poignant for our family at the moment as we lost my husbands father on Sunday morning, his Grandchildren are devastated as are we all. he adored his Grandchildren and they adored him he has left a great lot of beautiful memories for us to remember him by. How I agree with all the sentiments written here. I never had as much patience with my own children but I have it in bucket-full for my 4 beautiful grandchildren. My 2 youngest (age 3 & 4) spent a few days with us over half term and it was wonderful walking around Ikea with each one holding my hand.............. Very Happy Days. P.S. It also mean`t that I did not buy anything which pleased Grandpa even more. Lol. Love and Peace Marianne.x |

You probably didn't have the time Harry. My hubby loves to see the grandchildren and he has more time to play with them than he did when our children were young. He was thrilled to bits to hear that our five year old grandson's ambition is to be a grandad, lol. Heather |
