Jess, I am so pleased that you took that deep breath and came back (or decided not to go). You do so much good for people on here that you would be truly missed. I am not adopted, but a member of my family is, and my Friend's Mother is so I do understand some of the issues you face. Having been a foster parent for babies being adopted I have also seen it from the other side, so to speak, and I can assure you that in the main those Birth Mother's didn't want their children adopted. As others have said it is not you ho has the problem it is those who have given you grief. Ann Glos

Hi Jess I have a cousin we are the same age born in the same house a few months apart,i had memories of us as smal children ,then nothing,her name never spoken,not till after my parents and grandparents had died did i become a bit of a sluth,I quizzed my uncles wife to find he had a first wife who was killed in an accident,and her children adoped by a relative on their mothers side,In the 1980's i finaly found her she was taken to Scotland which have different adoption laws,it took awhile but i found her she met her father and her half brothers and sister,the strangest thing was my uncles wife (They had divorced by then) we went to her flat her adult children came in,all she said was ,,oh you lot this is your half sister if you dont like it go but she stays she waited a long time to meet you,i love my cousin so much,we were reunited about 23 years ago.
