It always worries me that one will get in our house - we back onto woodland and when the weather's nice I leave the back door open so that the dogs can go in and out the garden as they please. Trouble is I'm terrified of birds and if one got in the house I don't know what I would do - probably go and beg the neighbour for help. lol When we lived in Devon a Pigeon flew into our lounge window, Hubby went out to see if it was ok (he's good with birds) and it ran under a Leylandi tree. He decided to send our Retriever under to fetch it and bless her little cotton socks she went in picked it up carefully in her mouth and dropped it at Hubby's feet! This is the dog that ran around the garden with a frog hanging out her mouth screaming once! Hopefully your little feathered friend will be ok now. Kaye x

I suspect you are right and madam did bring it in but I didn't see her do it which is unusual..... it may explain why she was miaowing at the dressing room table yesterday!! Glad me found it alive tho, poor little thing was scared stupid!! xx

Ah hope it didn't make you jump too much. I got divebombed in my very own lounge last week due to a cheeky chaffinch. Honestly all that space they have to fly about in and they chose our pokey little houses x Bet puss is smiling about its leg little rotter x

Hi Diana, I would suspect Madam of bringing the bird in, in the first place. She really only wanted to play with it!!!!!!! Vivienne xx

Aww hope it's OK I had three swallows last week...all trying to get out the dining room window. The doggy was just layed underneath in her bed!

Went for a nap earlier, just woke up to find a bird walking across the hall...... took me 15 minutes but managed to get it out a window before madam spotted him..... I think they have had a to-do as there are a few feathers about and it did have an injured leg but at least it flew off and hopefully will be fine!! xx
