I can only imagine how this poor man must be feeling. At a time when he needs the support of his mum and dad, regarding his wife's illness, or the support of his wife regarding his parent's illness, none of them are in a position to support him, through no fault of theirs. I am glad he has other family to help him and I hope his children can find the strength to unite with their dad in this dreadful situation, and to be strengthened together in their sadness. My thoughts will be with him and all the family, and I know you will be doing what you can to help too, J. Life is surely a lottery but why do some people, often those we could live without, get all the winning numbers and others, who deserve so much better, have no luck at all. I hope all those involved find their own strengths to cope with what lies ahead and that their pain is alleviated as much as possible. I suppose some comfort is to be gained from the fact that they will be together in another place. Liz x
