My Dearest Friend has Breast Cancer UPDATE

My mother had a mastectomy 21 years ago at the age of 55, made a splendid recovery and is still going strong at 76. Today she will be having her gall bladder removed, I'll be a lot happier once she's out of theatre. Hope your friend does well - a lot do recover well. |

So sorry to hear that yet someone else has fallen victim to breast cancer. I wish Pauline a full and speedy recovery. I would also like to wish Lyn well and thank her for putting her experience on the board. It is because of hearing about so many people being affected and having had 2 close encounters myself, that I am sooo determined to complete my 60km walk in September and help raise awareness. Best wishes to all who have been affected by this awful disease. Jacky xx |
