Hi Joan, Hi Ann, Actually someone else contacted me who lived nearby when I first started using these boards about 2 years ago, but we somehow didn't keep in touch and I seem to have deleted her from my list of contacts. She seemed to be much younger than me though so maybe that's why. Yes, I sometimes feel too far away from 'home', but I'm glad I'm not as far away as some. Night, night all. I'll try and pop in some time over the weekend. Margaret x

My previous WAS a little tongue in cheek,of course I knew what you meant.. there ARE ways of dragging old threads up from the Abyss./Limbo........unless they HAVE been deleted... Bob XX.

Debby Report 22 Jun 2006 22:00

Bob That thread was half way down the page and was being ignored - it was dying. I would have loved to answer the thread but I resisted the temptation and hoped everyone else would. Result - wum wins again! Debby

Believe me my threads die Bob lol !! I guess that you don't have to read on, if you don't like what you see, if you understand what I mean. :0) Joan

You don't have to read the threads you don't like, and you don't have to like the threads that you read .... You don't have to join in at all ! We live in a free country, it's what our Ancestors fought for, so we had some freedom. What we DO HAVE to do though, is respect each other as individuals. Respect other people's opinions and feelings. We DO NOT however, have to shove them rudely down people's throats ! If something or someone upsets you personally or physically, let the person know off the boards, and let the rest of us get on being happy with each others company. And with that, (lol) I'm going to watch what's left of HOUSE !! :-( didn't realise I was missing it :-) Loads more singing tomorrow peeps, for those of us who enjoy a good old sing song :-)) or cats howling ( as in my case :-))) Nite nite folks x Elaine ;-)

true, but a small correction, threads do not die, unless deleted by their owner/originator but how do you know you are NOT going to like a thread, unless you read at least part of it? Bob XX
