doesn't it seem like it will never end? i keep buying more crockery and teaspoons and cups. then one day, just like magic they're bored, clean everything out of the room. and you can't fit it all back in the cupboard. eldest son came back home for 12 months after being away for 5 years, with the 2 other biggun's its like a zoo (only 2 are teenagers, but the eldest is very good at adapting fast) yvette |

When daughter was home, I had the same probs ... filthy, discussing room, makeup thrown all over, underwear etc etc etc As soon as she got her own place, it was SPOTLESS ! She was only gone 6 wks, then she came home... but I thought, Oh brill, I get an Angel back !! ...NO CHANCE ... straight back to being a hovell ! Now she has her own place again, and its SPOTLESS !! She has a friend who has moved in with her, who is just as untidy as she was at home ! ... but guess what ? .. MY daughter tidies up ALL the time, washes the pots as soon as they're done with ... and MOANS when its untidy ! Elaine ;-) |

I remember very well the state of teenagers bedrooms - what a nightmare. Especiallt when you've lost every bit of china and cutlery to that cavern they call their room. Couldn't even open the door to it at times because of all the junk on the floor jamming the door. History now thank goodness. But those memories !!!!!!! |

Right Lisa, Holds breath!!! Here goes !! I'm just entering the room and I may be sometime, Dial '0800 Mum needs help!' If I'm not back in 1/2 an hour I may have been swallowed up by whats under (or in) the bed. Please inform the OH that it was your suggestion - he may need someone to blame! Jenx |

LOL:-))))) Think I agree with Trish tho' , definitely more peaceful with her in bed out of the way! But..............................what a waste of a day!!!!!!!!! She could be out annoying someone else surely!!! Or at least go to the library and get some revision done -- methinks thats why she's in bed just a teenage way of avoiding the issue! And failing that she could always tidy her room !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (I'm too scared to go in there) Still at least she's not on the 'puter. Cheers Jenx |

Jug (or bucket) full of water helps !! Don't worry about wetting everything !! ... Have you got a washer handy ??? Love it ! Elaine ;-) Pinkella : I find, it you slowly pour it down there backs, they tend to 'jump' out of bed rather than crawl under the covers !!! |
