Viv, good to hear things are to be looked at - hope everything goes your way and you can feel secure in your job again. Will be thinking of you. My son has had a bit of hassle this week from his picky manager - she has had it in for him for ages and this week is crunch time. He is a bit unsure of the way he wants things to go but will know on Friday whether he still has a job or not. He has been trying for a new job for months now, but can't get anything like the money he has been earning. What's the point in earning a lot if you are miserable going to work tho? Liz

Thanks for your support folks. I can understand your concern, Christine but I doubt it is anything you have done. From what you say it sounds more like coercion from the boyfriends mother. Can't have her sons girlfriend working for a competitor. Vivienne xx

Hope this gets resolved for you Vivienne. I've just had to accept a week's resignation from one of my best workers; she's only 18 but very good at her job. Worse still, she's going to work for one of our competitors and he's a nasty piece of work, in fact her boyfriend's mother is manager there and she's equally nasty! I'm actually very worried about her as she attempted suicide last year because of this woman and now she not only lives in the same house but will be working for her. Maybe it's something we've done - or not done - I don't know. Hope it's not to do with money though maybe it would be easier to accept if it was. Just have to get on with it, I suppose.
