How do I know if I need a detox? Our body generates toxins constantly. If we have a perfect diet, drink plenty of spring water and take exercise, our body should be able to remove these unwanted substances on its own. But we now live in a chemical world of pollution, amalgam fillings, medicines, pesticides, alcohol, poor diet, lack of exercise, stress...the list is endless, and so too are the symptoms: bloating, gas, brain fog, forgetfulness, inability to concentrate, headaches, allergies, overeating, poor circulation, fatigue, mood swings, bad breath, stiff joints, cold hands and feet, recurring infections, indigestion, poor skin, cellulite, back pain etc. This was taken from e-bay seller Dobleen Health & Beauty, who is offering 14 pads of Green edition for £7.89 +£1.95 p&p or 28 pads for £14.95 |

as you can get toxins just by breathing polluted air, excersing might even make you breathe more in !! |

considering my age 47 I dont really know much about toxins as it is a subject that has only recently come into public discussion (if you know what I mean). I ride my bike to work most days and I go for a jog with the dog most days along the beach. Whenever I do a lot of exercise like jogging by the time I get home I am always desperate for the loo. As I understand it exercise makes all your organs work properly so does that not flush the toxins through your body as well???? |

I did wonder if i was waking up more refreshed, however with the g'kids visiting over the w/end, i'm feeling shattered now! lol They must be doing something, as they don't work on all areas, hence can't get mucky just by being in contact with the skin. |

Anyone looked on E-bay? I bought a weeks course for £8. Tried them for 3 days so far. Work best on the ball of my foot rather than in the middle. I find they are pretty mucky when I take them off, but haven't particularly noticed my feeling any better yet. Claire xx |

Found out that H & B are selling the detox pads but they are expensive - 14 pads for £25. Ok if you can't wait to get them by post. Liz |

I have been watching a few of the Fern Britton progs on tv at lunchtime - Looking Good, Feeling Great, at 1.30 and the one on Friday is all about detox diets so might be worth watching. Several magazines are advertising the pads in a small feature, but not the ones Val and I used. Anyone need the address do contact me. Will certainly be using them again when I get round to sending off for more. Liz |

re-used the last of my pads last night on my heels, and worked fine there, adhesive wasn't so sticky, so wore pair of footlets. |

It does say that you might not notice any change first time of using course. I think changes must be very subtle. Used 5th pad on heel to foot, good result, 6th pad, sole to middle, one of these came out hard white corner where centre of foot was. Next night didn't use one as wouldn't be able to wear it long enough. Last night was final pad night, I decided to try on my thighs, this morning the pads were clear, with powder still loose inside, so have kept them to use again underfoot tonight. Am I waking up more refreshed? is my tummy slightly flatter? is there another reason for this or my imagination? who knows !! |

I mailed the company I got my pads from and asked if it was best to use the pads continuously or just do a short 'course' They have mailed back to say 'it is best to use them constantly night after night', but 'first time users may find a break helps them adapt to the pace of the detoxification pads.' So certainly worth trying for more than a few days. Has anyone noticed they felt any different after using the pads? Liz |

I would say that the recommendation is to use only 1 course, followed by another in 4 weeks, not every night for weeks on end. |
