I would say so Germaine! - I remember clearly sitting there with the sun streaming through the windows, and exam paper in front of me - especially clear was 25th June, 1960, I was 14 and wondering what I would be doing at 21........how the years have flown....I just can't believe it.......

I got married in the October of '65 Germaine......now that October .....it rained during the weeks up to the 2nd, and then it all dried up and the sun shone. We had a week in Jersey and it was an Indian summer.....hot, hot, hot......

Good morning All Sunday morning & I was up at 7am, unbelievable! There is a good reason though. My new fridge is to be delivered anytime from 8am onwards, didn't want to get caught out in my dressing gown. Hot here in Somerset already, looks like it will be a scorcher. Whatever the weather where you are, have a good one. Vivienne xx

Ah I remember that Oct Sally my birthday 4th and yes it was nice I had had a fall out with my best friend and my birthday was Wed our half day . She knocked on the door very sheepish looking and had brought me a card and a little pressie. So though I should have been doing my washing ( yes I was a good girl and did my own ) off we went out and back to best friends again. Lida hope they don't keep you waiting for your fridge then you can enjoy the rest of the day Germaine x
