I just feel so much for those of us who are ' above average' size, that are shown as show cases for the rest of us to use as an example of what the rest of us may or may not consider the *norm* There is no 'norm' ... we are what we are at the end of the day. If our health is affected because of our size, then yes, try and do something to change it ... that goes for stick insects and cuddly people alike. I thought that lady last night had a lovely curvy figure, and I could have cried and died for her when she took her clothes off. But the meer fact that the programme has been made in the first place, just shows how opinionated we, as a society are. No wonder some of us have got 'hang ups' about our bodies. Elaine ;-)) |

I watched MOST of it. What I did watch was quite good. I'm sorry that it tends to focus on people who are above size 10 though ? What about the stick insects who believe they are too thin ?... and can NOT put weight on no matter what. They DO exist but are not at the forefront of public discussion. In fact I've never seen or heard of that problem being discussed ever ? Elaine ;-) |
