Update on Pauline, its not good

So many of you recently sent many kind wishes to my dearest friend Pauline as she went for a mastectomy and she has asked me to pass on her thanks to you all, she is very moved by your kind and loving messages. Today I went with Pauline and her daughter to see Mr M her consultant and sadly he had to give her the news that further tumors had been found and she is going back into hospital on Monday for more surgery and then to have chemotherapy. As you can imagine she is devastated as are her family and friends also she two days ago she lost her sister and is unable to travel home for her funeral. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. Thanks to you all Pam |

Pam, Please please send my very best wishes to your friend and her family. You truly are a very good friend. I never try and draw comparisons between my situation and others because everything is so individual. The only thing I can say is that chemo is unpleasant, it would be foolish to say otherwise, but your friend appears to have great support around her with her family and friends like you and hopefully you can all help carry her through the journey ahead. Pauline's journey maybe bumpy along the way, the roadtrack does start to smooth out the further along you go and I hope this is the case for Pauline. Please keep us all informed on how things are going for her. My best wishes to all, Lyn x x x x x |

I too am awaiting news about my friend's daughter who had one yesterday...... It is very sad to hear the cancer has spread and that she is having such a bad time in all aspects of her life at present....I do so hope the chemotherapy gives her a lot more time.......thinking of you......x |
