Thinking of my second cousin once removed - REGINALD STAPLEHURST Who fought with the Royal Sussex Regiment 2nd Btn & was killed at the Somme on 17/08/1916. Before he went to war he worked as a Gardener at Langney Cemetery in Eastbourne. I often think of the Staplehurst family when I visit family graves there.
