Don,t know what went on with this'Atlantic Blue' But from what I,ve read on here perhaps it,s time to give him the 'Deep Six'.Who is he ?and what is he? apart from what he has been called.And as to that,it seems to me to be an insult to every one who is an actual member of the 'Swat' team, ( Changing the S to a T ) best thing is to ignore the ''Bar-Steward and give him the' Saxon Salute' (V) every time he re-appears. I saw this coming last night - that's why I switched my computer off, it's better not to reply to those sort of threads at all, it's too easy to get drawn in when you or your friends are being insulted. I agree that something needs to be done about ex members signing up under new names and causing trouble like this - why won't GR sort it? I saw what Jeanette said - pretty spot on really, but I didn't see Bec's comments - looks like she called him a t**t? I would hardly say that's grounds for suspension. How many more people are going to rise to the bait and be suspended before GR does something? Kaye x

Sorry to see this happening again and would back any efforts to have people who stir up problems banned permanently from the site, but I have to say that the best thing to have done would have been to completely shun this idiot's thread. If he had been ignored nothing would have happened. Responding to his comments just gives him what he wants. I find there are too many threads to keep up with anyway so mostly just read the first part and see where it is going, and ignore. Take care everyone, Liz

Maybe .... ( just a thought ) If we all copy Jim's letter and mail to GR, they would surely get the message that HE (AB) is the problem, NOT the good members. Worth considering ? I have already decided what I will be doing during the next few days or so .... I have nothing to loose, and am quite happy to help rid the boards of morons. I only know what I have been told in a PM that he has been suspended, but preferred to word it differently for him. I had seen him on the tips board before using his ''proper'' name. Joy (proper name)

By strung up, I hope you mean kicked into touch for good. If Bec and Jeanette are given an eight week suspension for a minor indiscretion then it's only right that AB gets flung off permanently for persistently being a complete tool.

I too have contacted GR and complained about the member Atlantic Blue asking for them to be banned for life.

Jean, A couple of people rose to the bait unfortunately, and gave Atlantic Blue exactly what he wanted - an excuse to report THEM, even though his supposed purpose in the thread was to get himself banned. He's all mouth & trousers, as they say. What are the odds that in 8 weeks time, he will still be around, having renewed! carole

Jim, well put. Its a bl**dy shame that a well liked and respected member should be suspended for being goaded into a reaction by a habitual trouble maker who doesnt even seem to bother hiding the fact. Mad eh??
