Now that its only the OH and me living at home I dont mind the ironing. I usually watch TV or play some CD`s. I hated it when the children were younger,it seemed never ending with all those school clothes, PE kit plus weekend clothes. Quite enjoy it now (how sad is that?) Lol. Love and Peace Marianne.x

HATE IT WITH A VENGENCE. Was on holiday recently and spent ages beforehand ironing everything. All I could think of when anyone put anything on was.........that has got to be ironed all over again when I get back! Thank heavens for the tumble dryer. It cuts down a lot of it. Susan

Catherine - there are 3 of us in the house and it costs me around £8 per week - that is for a huge bagful - worth every penny. If you are looking for someone go for a self employed lady at home rather than a company - when I looked into it the companies charged at least double what my lady does.

absolutely hate it. I do iron though as I hate to see my family in creased clothes. Saying that, daughter has bought several of those tops that you wring and squeeze before drying and wear them without ironing.

I must admit to being one of those strange people who don't mind ironing at all. I stick my cds on and i'm in a world of my own LOL Used to iron for older family members, and when I had a huge amount to do, I'd borrow reading tapes from the library. ' Read ' some good books..... and ironing finished in no time at all!! Mau X ;0)

Add Lucia to ignore list.... Lynda, yep, you can still get bovril... its not my favourite drink in the world, and I wouldn't normally drink it at home etc, but its nicer than the tea !!
