On behalf of the Wattlers in Australia, I raise my glass to June. What a wonderful, special person she was. Her family must feel so proud of her. I know that just by logging on every day, there'd be a message from her remembering someone else. We will remember you, June! Lewella xxx

Ladies and gentlemen… can we please observe one minutes silence for our dear friend June and reflect on what she meant to us. ……………………… Thankyou… I would like to say a few words before we continue with our day here in Chester… June was a longstanding member on Genes reunited and gave her time to the Birthday threads and the Gaynor Bear relay willingly and without asking for any gratification. She was so looking forward to coming here today to meet old and new friends and to stay over with her friends Joyce and Carol and continue the weekend with some of us. The Blackpool trip that some of us have organised too was on her itinery and I know she would have made it special for me and helped me celebrate my birthday… she was unselfish in her life…always thought of others first and loved her friends and family unconditionally. She was proud to be one of the Harem Globetrotters… Some people here today will never forget June, she was their special friend and confidant….I certainly won’t… we will always remember the lovely lady with a beautiful smile and a twinkle in her eyes. Please raise your glasses… to Our June.
