Thanks Cherry That's why I find this thread quite disturbing. My 'eldest' has been missing for over two weeks now. I guess someone may be looking after him and feeding him, but if the person was to make one trip to the vet, we could be reunited. Maybe Rubygem has had the cats checked out, but as my threads have been ignored, I guess she hasn't. While she may be happy naming the cats and feeding them, would she be prepared to pay out £2,500 for one of the 'strays' to have an op? My cat has been ill and still has regular vets visits and his condition could reappear at any time To-date he has cost us £2.5K. Naturally if he were at home and ill, I would pay for him to receive the necessary treatment, but would someone who had just 'found' him? There might be some, but not many. AL |

Oh Al, there must be some worried owners trying to find their little babes. My boys are microchipped and during these hot balmy evenings the little debbils won't come back into the house at night but are only too fond of climbing in through the bathroom window at 5 a.m. and jumping on our bed. Please Rubygem try and find the owners rather than choosing names for them. Cherryxx |

AL, Rubygem may be trying to find the owners, but it was late last night, give her a chance, but if the owners can't be found it would be nice for the cats to have a name. I used to have a black cat years ago called Sabbeth, he was born on the Sabbeth, so thought it was a good name, also liked Black Sabbeth the group. Bev |

I guess as you've ignored my threads that you haven't tried to find the owners. Instead of trying to think of names for them, why not try to find out their real names? AL |

We had a black cat, many years ago, that we called Voodoo. It suited her very well, and she lived to a ripe old age I'm glad to say. Chris |

We had a jet black dog.........(bitch) called Sheba, but as the kids were little and referred to dogs as doggy wogs.it got corrupted to'' wog dog', now that attracted a few glances because the second name was what the dog was called if she '' Cocked A deaf un'' as it were.............. Bob. |

Hiya Have you tried to find their owners? If you take them to a vet he can check to see if they're micro chipped or reported missing. You can also contact local animal charities. One of my babies is currently missing (2 weeks yesterday) and I expect some kind person is feeding him, but really want him back. AL |
