Paul - don't do yourself down! You are an accomplished music critic, you know about computers, you know ALL about sand in its various guises, you work hard for charity. You are a nice guy! What more do you want?

I appreciate the sentiments ladies.. but I really don't have one thing that I'm particularly good at.. I'm a jack of all trades, and I'm quite happy about that. I do have my areas of failure, as we all do, which have coloured my posts on here a bit, but I know I have my strengths as well as my weekenesses... take no notice :o)

I've been told that I'm a good listner and that I always try to calm troubled waters. Mind you I'm a real chatterbox as well. My Dad used to tell me they'd vaccinated me with a gramophone needle, or that I could talk under water .... I always see the bright or up side of everything which sometimes drives my son MAD! Toot toot ti toot, ti toot toot ti toot. Tha's me finished now! Margaret

Paul - being a jack of all trades is a talent in itself - well I'm going to say it is because I think I'm one too!

Paul, If this thread was headed - Things you would like to be good at - my list would be so long........most of us are good at something. However small we think it is, someone else would like to be able to do that, and can't. You come across as a caring chap with a sense of humour......there are a lot of men out there who will never be that....

There, see, we are all good at something no matter how small or insignificant it may seem to us, i think just to put a smile on someones face and make them feel good about themselves is a real talent and one that we all have inside us. :o))))))))))))))) :o)))))))))))) xxLynnxx

I think it's sad that, so often, people find it hard to recognise their own talents. Can't remember who said this but it's true - Of course we should blow our own trumpets, after all, we're the only ones who know the tune! :-)
