Hi Catherine If you're talking about the thread about Alton Towers, I was one of those who found some of the comments on there quite racist in tone. I can't remember what you said and whether your comments were among those I meant but if any of us post opinions on debate threads we just have to accept that other people are going to find some of the things we say offensive. Mostly we can only judge each other by the things we post - can be hard sometimes:)

People have deleted their replies to this and you know who you are, as do I. but everyone has a right to post THEIR opinion as (everyone has a right to delete,)no matter what any one else thinks about it. As long as it remains in the guidelines of GR then everyone's opinion counts. Certain people think they are GR and you must do whatever that thread says. Well sorry I was a member of GC. Genes Connected so was June, Ann, Keith Sandra and alot of others. And we remember when this site was friendly, long before people got expelled. catherine xx

Just to update on what I sent in my message to Catherine... Last Saturday is what GR is all about... lots of friendly, loving people...everyone spoke to everyone else and mixed as though they had been friends all their lives... Everyone has their own oppinion, and no-one has the right to turn nasty because of your oppinion... So I say to anyone who reads this... If you disagree with anything then that is your right... you also have the right to ignore threads and people who add nasty comments to a thread... you do not have to click that mouse!!!! Catherine... you have done the right thing girl... well done you!!! Anne :)))

Tough, i read threads and get upset that people who have had there say, get upset becos we have are say and dont agree, what does it matter? it is only text, they are not are life, you are stronger than this, i know you are a Northerner Lil

Catherine hun just think of it this way....if the supermarket only had one choice of beans/bread/milk/cheese we'd all get bored really quickly. It doesn't make me more right than you if i choose one brand of beans and you choose another, it just shows we have the ability and confidence to chose what we like/enjoy/can afford. Not too sure if that makes sense at this time of the morning but i know what i'm trying to say, have faith in your beliefs.xxkeep posting.
