One thing I love about Canberra is that we get 4 distinct seasons. Most of Oz doesn't really get winter but we get a definite Autumn, Winter and Spring. lovely. I like the cold as long as I have my fire!! but it has been exceptionally cold this winter. However, it only really lasts for a short time - the early blossom trees are already beginning to bloom and all my jonquils are flowering with the daffys not too far behind. Actually, thinking about it I bet there are lots of people who could do with some snow to cool them down - too many idiots walking round without sun cream will be in pain tonight. Liz |

We had seven frosts straight poor garden doesn't know what's hit it !!! coldest winter on record in Adelaide. |
