She sounds like one disappointed little lady that's for sure. Joined GR today by the look of things. A real difficult situation. Just wondered what everyone thought. Glen |

Hate to be cynical, but is this genuine? Kids have got on here before and pulled stunts like this. |

Well, yeah but, if it is genuine, they shouldn't be on here and open to abuse. It does make you wonder! (typing in my sleep again) Nanna-M ;) |

Good point Rebs, but would a kid start a tree just for a stunt? If it is genuine then i'm afraid i have to say she wouldn't be able to deal with the situation,it isn't always a fairytale finding a parent. The worst thing about the homepage is that stupid link to success board ' i typed in my adopted husbands name and within four hours found............' About time THAT was removed. Glen |

I would never answer an appeal from a child but it worries me to see them posting.... Nanna-M |

Guess the tree does add a touch of authenticity. But you're right, the link to success should be removed. I wonder how much success a non-paid member can actually have since you have to rely on others making the first contact. Success should be for full paid members only. |

I sent a message to GR asking if they would help the young lady in question, and sent a PM to her telling her that I had done so. Joy |

And the reply I received was apologetic but they could not help her because she was under-age. I am in ongoing correspondence with GR regarding this - partly regarding the seeming inability to prevent under-age subscribers, partly stressing that, in my opinion, all boards should be for paying subscribers only.
