I haven't had any problems on Genes with boards going slow......only them not replying when I ask a question......ever......

Mine was, then wasn't, now is again! I did notice something strange this morning though, when I was posting to The Village - I thought I had bashed a wrong key but it was definitely the 'add reply' page and it had 'The Village Chapter 93' over the box the same as normal except it had a blue strip at the top of the page with an 'add description' box and a warning about Trying to Find messages being removed. They are clearly working on the site. If we KNEW that we would make allowances perhaps. Mags xx

Marvalous now its speeded up ;;; and I remember someone else saying this last week I think she e-mailed GR and within no time it started to run ok again;; so what is only on half boil till someone complains;; Babs

Does GR ever listen to any of our complaints I am starting to belive they dont;;; If no then its who to complain to above the ones we have ;; THe TV company that owns it;;; and last time I write that the thread was removed ;; So I say in advance bye thread;; Babs

No problems here, but there were the other day even with an internet speed of 8.1 Mbps. Also, I'd like GR to be continually constructively ''nagged'' about the success board until all boards are for posting on by paying members only (emboldened, underlined). (Sorry about my grammar being incorrect.) Joy

I thought it was me or rather my computer on a go slow. Then thought perhaps it is the hot weather . why do we always make excuses? Oh well, perhaps it will get better soon. Mary

Oh Babs... you are so right. I cannot believe they cannot do something about this. Perhaps they should ask their very knowledgeable members how to get the site up and running properly. Jean

Babs, you took the words right out of my mouth, or rather my fingers. I am sick of wasting time while waiting for the pages to download, it has been like this for several days now, what is up with them, are they really so incompetent they can't fix it? Maybe if there were not so many ads it wouldn't slow it down so much. I don't remember it always being so slow before ITV took over. and they can't say it is increased 'traffic' because I am sure that there are fewer people posting because of the time it is taking. Gr I cannot believe it takes all this time to sort out a site, you get good revenues from us and now advertising on TV, you cannot serve the people on here well enough at the moment without advertising for more;;;;;;;;;;; Please sort out this problem;;;;;;Thanks Babs
