.... or does the Fashion/Clothes Industry not seem to cater for the 'still trendy' 'fuller figured' 40+ age group ????? I have searched high and low and can't seem to find a shop that has anything suitable anymore!! |

Same as me Anne - I like Next trousers but none of their tops fit properly, M&S = tooo boring, No Debenhams near me, TKMaxx - cant be bothered sifting thru all their stuff ......yadayada! Unless you're a whippet sized 10/12 I dont think the industry caters for you...and if you're over 40 !!!!! then G.d help us all ! Off to B&Q .....no not for clothes silly!! :0))) Jen x |

I'm only 32 and find it impossible to find clothes that aren't fuddy duddy, but aren't desgined for the young 20's market either. I find that they don't cater for the more 'traditional' figure anymore - curvy. I have to buy trousers that are much too big on my bum and waist just so they'll fit around my hips. I think we're all supposed to be shaped like Men (or boys) with no shape at all? I'm longing for the Marilyn Monroe type figure to come back into fashion. lol Kaye x |

Hi, East have lovely clothes in sizes up to 18 as do Monsoon. I used to love Wallis stuff but it's got a bit dull over the last year or so. I like Per Una at Marks, though. Gwynne |

I'm nearly 62 and have had problems buying in the past, don't like straight up and down shapeless long black clothes, but have done really well this year, the clothes have got more shape to them, and are not so long. I tend to look at the George range in Asda, they have some nice stuff as well as crap and in all sizes, at very reasonable prices, if I don't like it on or it doesn't fit, take it back next week for a no quibble refund. |

I particularly like the Boho Chic/Gypsey skirts - otherwise known as broomstick skirts - I have always worn these but can't even find them anymore :O( |
