Kaye - my second bit said that I was a big cheat! I'm looking it up as I go along. I've only got school French as well. Didn't stop me trying to talk to some guy in Thorntons and explaining in Franglais that he had a free small box of chocs with the one he was buying! Never felt such a twit in my life LOL

Mags lol My pigeon French isn't very good I'm afraid - I can't believe I forgot that Noir was black and not night! It's been a fair few years since I learnt it at school and as I don't use it I don't remember much - that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it. lol Kaye x

Kaye, I used to 'speak' Franglais with someone on msn - it's amazing how much you do remember when you come to use it again. Ok - the verb endings are all wrong but they can get the gist of what you're trying to say. It's hilarious sometimes when you haven't a clue what the word is and you just shove the English one in. LP - You still got your daughter on msn? Send her this: Bonjour ma belle fille. J'ai appris que tellement le Français dans la dernière demi-heure que je me pense réservera des vacances à Paris. Nous avons des cuisses de grenouilles pour le thé ce soir. It's not rude honest! Mags xx

LP - J'espère qu'il ne pleut pas demain. J'espère que vous avez de belles vacances. Au revoir! Marguerite xxx

LP - I hope it says 'I hope it doesn't rain tomorrow and I hope you have a good holiday' Daisy - LOL I was just about to ask you how your name could be Marguerite but I was thinking of your real name - then the penny dropped! Marguerite was the name I was given during French at grammar school. I hated it - I sooo wanted to be a Suzette or a Genevieve.
