Joan - if that £43 is less than 60% of what your husbands RP entitlement is then yes - or that's how it was when I used to have to decipher forecasts! LOL. If it is more than your husband can claim for you on the couples pension, then you will continue to receive the £43 pension in your own right.

Polly £96 every 2 weeks? Good grief, how do people manage? Polly, is that taxable income too? Thanks Joan and Sally, made notes of all the info. Might as well find out now so I can plan forward. OH desperate to take early retirement.....lucky him can claim pensions from jobs he's had before. Don't think I'm going to like living on pension money, everything is so expensive........ Nanna-M :)

Thanks Glenys...made my day..I don't feel 60.... I refuse to feel 60.. OH ten months younger and is always going on about being a toy boy ! Does he have to wait till he is 65 for a pension ?

My Sis is 4 years younger than me, born in 1950, in June, so she will have to wait until she is 60 yrs and 6 months before she receives a pension, and it gradually goes up until women have to wait until they are 65, the same as men......
