Purple **^*Sparkly*^** Diamond Report 14 Aug 2006 01:16

Rather spooky this, today (Sunday) a slip of paper was pushed through the door, for a Hypnotherapist, advertising all the usual, stress/anxiety, weight management, phobias, grief/loss, insomnia, regression, stop smoking, plus many more. I will have to look on the website and see more about this, might be a sign for me to try on several issues, my ocd hoarding especially and of course the regression, maybe they are linked!! Do you think I would get a reduction for a bunch of queries? lol Will update if I try anything. If it is too much for me to pay, I will get the cd instead and try that, altho not too clever at meditation myself. Did it at a stress management class several years ago, and we had to lay on the floor and imagine a palm tree and the ocean, you know the kind of thing, well I used to go after I had been to work and many a week, I would hear the tutor's voice, saying 'leave her, she will wake up in a mo' and find I had dozed off!!!!! Probably snored too.

when I was 30, I woke up every night, for weeks.I would be bolt upright in bed, eyes staring out their sockets.in my dream I was lying in my bed all my family were around me ,including my parents who are dead.I couldnt open my eyes no matter how hard I tryed, all of the poeple around me were pulling at my eyes trying to open them but they just wouldnt budge.and I was above the bed looking down watching all this going on.I was terrified, the feeling was so intense,as soon as I managed to get my eyes open,I was awake ,bolt upright in bed.22 years on I now wear glasses, but at the time of my dreams I had perfect eyesight. Im laughing as im typing this,as I remember asking hubby,if he was having an affair, and this was a warning to open my eyes to his deception, yes we are still together, but only God knows whylol

Ooooooh, Dianna, thats a bit scarey!!! When any of you get regressed (if you do) have a look for people you live with or are friends with now. Our souls are supposed to be attracted to the people from our past lives... For example.. In this life i have my daughter and husband...in my past life i could have been the daughter, my husband my mother and my daughter my father.....!!! I think that is why we feel attracted to certain people, someone who i have a really strong connection to could have been related in a previous life!! I definatly feel as though i have known my daughter before, and my best friend looks VERY similar to me and we get on as though we are related.... Just something to ponder on! lol.... BTW....If you go to an 'alternate therapies' salon it is under £100...Well, here in Leeds it is! LOU XXXXXXXXXXXX

PP - the cd is a kind of DIY regression, but it's very good and she takes you through it step by step. I have heard others say that they wouldn't recommend it for people who haven't had at least some experience of meditation - I don't have any experience like that and I think that's why I found it quite difficult to get into. I think it's basically self hypnosis - I was completely aware of everything that was going on around me, but I don't think I was quite all the way there if you know what I mean? You can get the cd from Amazon and I think Ottakers too and I don't think it was particularly expensive - mine was a present. It wasn't at all what I expected and I wasn't regressed to somewhere I would have expected - I love History and have read up on so many different eras that I would have been sceptical if I had regressed to one of those, but I didn't! I wasn't even thinking about Children either - to me not having any is just a decision I made and not a problem so I was surprised that that came up. I will definitely try it again sometime - when I have a good hour of peace and quiet where I won't be disturbed - Husband interrupted me last time just as I felt I was getting into it! Men lol Kaye x

I tried regression once but the only words I spoke were 'FEAR, SCARED + NO' - the regression therapist said I wasn't ready to go to the past yet and/or the past for me was genuinely a horrendous place..... I cried whilst under too and he bought me round quicker than the others!!

Wow lucky you, and how daft was she not to have a go? If anyone else wants me to go first and try, at their expense, I am up for it, hint hint!

That's nice having a granddaughter with her own pinny! I am sure there is something to be found if you can get the right person doing the regression session, wish I could afford to have a go, but will try the diy one, altho not that good at meditation, my mind is always so busy.

I just typed past life regression into the seach box and there are loads of sites, some of them show you how to do it yourself, some are sceptical, so lots to read about it and try. good luck folks, let us know if anyone tries. one site is: www*healpastlives*com substitute* with the usual full stop still looking, that is fascinating stuff. Are you a good cook?

Kaye, with the cd you used, is it like a diy regression session? How would you remember it afterwards? I would love to know of my past lives, would be fascinating.

When I was small, well younger anyway, I had a recurrent dream that I was in a trench with soldiers, I was a soldier and I was speaking French and guns and warfare were going on around me. I cannot speak French, nor have any inclination to, but I told my Dad of my dream later, and the uniform I described he said it was from WW1, with the Puttees, (leg bandages,) I think Dad said. I have always had a fascination with both World Wars and have read up on them extensively........whether I was a French soldier or not, I have no idea....I cannot remember hearing of any talk of this when I was younger......

I also tried the Doreen Virtue cd - Past Life Regression with the Angels. I found it difficult, probably because I've had no experience of Meditation - I did get bits and pieces, but nothing significant! Oh I did get that I had 'lost a child' - don't know how or even if it was born, just a feeling? I don't have any children in this life, I do like kids but have never thought they were right for me! Some years ago I was regressed by a hypnotist and apparently was a Franciscan monk in 1340. The event was tape-recorded and witnessed by two others. I was amazed at what I knew about the political and social conditions at the time. History was never my best subject. len

I was regressed for my 30th birthday!!!!!!!!!!!! My name was 'Janu' and i lived alone in some mountains, i was about 39weeks pregnant and my husband was burried to the left of my little hut type house.....I can still remember it all now, as though it was yesterday......When i went to the market i paid with silver coins that had a tree emblem in the middle...... Spooky bit????? I have a tatoo of the tree on my back, had it for years...It is almost identical to the coins which i looked up to see where i was from...(forgotton now where the coins were from, will have a look now!!) Several years back returning from a holiday in France we got to the Somme area, I got out of the car and told the rest of the party yhat I would make my own way home from here...........I visited a few war graves and after being in a very small out of the way graveyard I decided to visit the village about a mile away and followed the railway lines....got to the village....but then realised that I did not see or know what I was looking for......nor were there any railway lines....or any indication that there was a village a mile away from the graves..............I made enquiries and this place was an ammunition depot supplied by a railwaysiding built in WW1........none of it was left

Pippa, thats so fascinating! Maybe you were her, or maybe you were her sister or young friend? Have you found out how she died, and the street she lived on? You could visit the street and see if it rings any bells.
