Hi Gwen, It's one of those slightly stretchy fabrics so I have to use a special stitch, combine that with the fact that there is a bit of a sheen on the fabric and it's nightmare time. Julie, what helpful cats you have. I hope your covers are more successful than my cape. Gwynne |

Lol Debi I did check the cushions for 'lumps', before sewing the final seam, it's the same when making the bed, they 'help' by diving under the sheet etc, so often end up with a suspicious looking lump called Sammy Cat or Smokey Joe Julie x |
