The best places to eat are around the canal basin which is near the Indoor arena - there may be a concert worth seeing. Gwynne |

There is a lovely Art Gallery in the centre and the jewellery quarter is a short walk away. Birmingham grew in the industrial revolution so thereisn't much historical stuff from before that. Gwynne |

:) oh I can manage without them pmsl. No - advice on Birmingham please - I looked on the atlas and it's a huge city. What is it like? What places to go? They are into history and castles! Is it a dangerous place for young innocent Aussies?? :) Vonny |
