We had really heavy rain for about an hour this morning 11.30is but the sun is shining now and it is really hot out there. No thunder or lightning though. ann glos |

I'm in Solihull and we had the thunder, lightening and rain between about 1.00 and 1.30. Horrendous. Roads flooded and houses hit by lightening. A very scary storm. Jacky :-) |

Its still passing over Derbyshire .... heading towards Buxton. Man hole covers were brought off the drains on roads here. Cars pulled over in the worst of it. We were having sunshine, then a big bolt of lightning ... followed closely by thunder, then the heavens opened ..:-((( We still have it over the Peak District.... Elaine ;-) |

It was here about 2ish and boy, did it rain. Roads were flooded. Bright sunshine now though. |

Hello Grannie Annie, you're a bit higher than me in Harlow and so is you're Mum at Chelmsford. I'm at Canvey and we had the torrential rain, but no storm. Don't mind a bit of thunder and lightning when I'm home, but off to shops now, it better hold off for a bit longer!! Once I'm safely back indoors it can do what it likes! lol Nanna-M :) |
