i dont know whether i look my age 46, but i have been blessed with dark wavey hair and virtuly no grey, next to most of my mates that are now bald, i guess i look younger, then the biggest plus i have noticed, haveing never smoked, i have virtuly no facial lines at all, yet people 5 years younger have deep crows feet and that makes them look old, i defanitly thing smoking kills your skin and on woman 30+ who have been life long smokers it puts 10 years on them at least. |

Well i often get told i neither look nor act my age.......but then i am sure people are too scared to be honest, lol My parents didn't look their age until they hit their 40's, then for many reasons they aged terribly. As i am now getting those ultra light and natural highlights (!!) i guess i will soon have to face being told i look my age....or older :-( I'm going to have to go drown my sorrows in a cup of tea now, lol Yvette |

I think I've aged alot since this time last year but mentally I'm still about 27. I did wonder whether I would still be able to climb up the rocky cliff on our recent trip to Wales but it would seem that my body can still cope with what I want it to do. ....I do push my luck with lack of sleep though sometimes. I'm sure this can't help the ageing process. Gwyn |

I think I look my age, but others disagree. As for feeling my age, yes, I do now - but only this last couple of years. Stella |

Gary I think you are right there. I am a smoker, and have a lot of red veins and blemishes which the Dr told me is due to smoking. But they are only where the sun has caught me, face, neck and tops of my arms. I do not sit in the sun at all really, and would never dream of going on a sunbed, both which cause premature wrinkles. Jenny. |

Well I know I don't act my age which is 48 because I probably mess about more now than I did when I was in my 20s. I also feel that I get on better with younger people than older ones I was always told that I looked younger than my age too but like others have said on here, I also feel I've aged visibly in the last couple of years. I don't smoke so my skin is pretty good. However my friend has just had his 60th birthday and doesn't look a day over 45. Aileenx |

Jenny i would never have guessed, thought you looked a babe, you may have a point about sun damage and skin ageing, this is another thing i avoid like the plague, i hate the sun, when stood outside my local during the recent heat wave all my builder pals were taking the mick out of me saying, were you been on holiday to Iceland. |
