Nanna when I got to the hospital with tiddler I was only 4 cm was told would be in for a long wait 2 hours later she was here mind you total labour was 15 odd hours so end bit may go fast you never know

lol Catherine, can't imagine screaming in helium voice!!! Not sure what's going on, but think she is being induced as they broke the waters and it was green. G/f's Dad says she started yesterday morning at 7am, but I only got the message from my Son today at 10.45am, so find out when we get there. Bless her, first one can be hours long.....fingers crossed she will be fine. Just wondering how my Son is feeling, not spoken to him today yet, bet he's nervous! I was very lucky with all mine 5hrs first one, 3hrs the second, 1hr for the one becoming a Dadda today and 20mins for the last one!!! lol Well I got to go get sorted, will let you know all the details when we get back.....I'm so excited, I just can't hide it....lol Nanna-Moo G :))

Great bet you just can't wait to get there lol. I'm sure if it's a natural birth she will be many hours, esp with the first. Is she being induced? I was 18hrs with Amy, it was very hard. Towards the end they started to put me in Stirrups.lol. I remember lying there thinking no way. So I Pushed like crazy. All well in the end. Don't remember much about it. Son was 6 hrs loved every min of it. I remember OH making me laugh just as a contraction was coming. I said half cut with the gas and air 'Is this the stuff they blow them ballons up with' He said in a very helium like voice. If it was you'd be talking all funny. Let us know how you all go. Thanks Catherine, just got off the phone from g/f's Dad, son and g/f are up hospital on their own at the moment so want to get there asap, but got to wait for OH. I'm getting impatient now, he's not going to get home til 2pm and then it's an hour and half to get there and then get to the hospital!! I'm soooo excited!! Nanna-Moo G :)) (oops no, g/f Mother is with them, thank goodness so all in hand, taking in turns to sit with her)

is on it's way!!! Hurrah, sons g/f is in hospital now, she is only 10 days late, bubba is going to take after it's Dad! Will update later, waiting for OH to come home then off to Ipswich, hope to get there before baby pops out..........ooo, it's exciting.......... Quick update-still only 6cm so not going, she is in soo much pain doesn't want anyone there yet.....now not expecting it to arrive today.....I'm so disappointed wanted to be there now!....hanging by the phone again....yes, just like his/her Dad!!! Hi All, Hurrah, Grandchild No.10 delivered safely, baby Boy born 8.40pm! Got no weight yet or name, hope to find out tomorrow, mother exhausted and Dad very proud!! (a bit tired too, been up all night) Waiting til tomorrow afternoon to see them all, after she has got home from hospital. Bless, having to have stitches! Ouch!! Best thing is they are both well, another twig added to the tree!!! :)) Babies name is Shaun Riley, weight 8lb 14ozs, good grief, no wonder it took so long!!! Poor girl, cannot tell you how uncomfortable she is! Nanna-Moo G :))))
