Mandy in Wiltshire Report 30 Aug 2006 18:56

After 3 weeks in hospital, Mum finally came home today. We have a special care package for the terminally ill set up, and everything was in place before Mum arrived home. The district nurse comes once a day to administer an injection, and a carer comes twice a day. Mum is obviously very weak and tired, but she is not in any pain and has no damage from the internal bleed. I’ll still be spending most of my time with Mum, but I wanted to thank everyone for their continued kind thoughts and wishes. Love to you all, Mandy & the family xxx

Try and make time for yourself as well, Mandy - that's not being selfish. You will need some time and space to keep yourself strong. Pleased Mum is not in any distress and has got home, which is where she will want to be. Jay

Hello Mandy! The most frustrating thing about being in the naughty corner has been that I've been unable to communicate my healing love and positive thoughts for your mum, CB and Jilly amongst others! I know this must be a tough time for you but know that I am thinking of you and your Mum often and that your Mum would not want you to overdo things at this time. Love to you, your Mum, Marston, Jordan and everyone else involved. MWAH <<HUG>> xxx

hi mandy, mum is in the best place now, amongst her family. while the carers are there, try and give yourself some ' me ' time, as looking after anyone is draining, specially when it's someone that you love. best wishes to you all....bryan.
