I was undercharged in a shop some time back,so I went back to the counter to tell the girl, but as soon as I said ''I think you made a mistake'' the girl snapped ''You should have said before leaving the counter, mistakes can't be rectified afterwards'' So I smiled sweetly and said '' Fine,I was just going to tell you that you didn't charge enough''. With that I turned and walked out. |

Yes I have... A few years ago I went shopping, went into one shop, picked up a packet of small screws, browsed round for a while and then went to Woollies. Got some things and went to pay for them,... the girl said that I could not pay for a certain item at their shop cos it wasn't from there... I was mortified... had walked out of the other shop with the packet of screws in my hand... I went straight back and paid for them ...luckily they saw the funny side.. Anne :))) |

I once stopped in Sainsburys for a coffee after shopping, grabbed my trolley and headed out to the car park. As I put it in the car, I realised I had the wrong trolley. This one was filled with real gourmet food, must have been worth ten times the price of mine. Yes, I did take it back, luckily the person was still having her lunch and never noticed. |

My friend did something similar, she had arodered a radio cassette player for her daughter, from the club book, and she was out when they delivered. They left it for all to see on the FRONT doorstep!! She told them it must have got pinched and got another one, so both her children got one. When they did something similar with me, I couldn't tell them it hadn't arrived and just quietly paid for it. *see I DO have a conscience, my other two posts make me look terrible lol* |

I bought a chest of drawers from Argos for my daughter, flatpack... The top was chipped right in the middle so I went back and asked them to deliver another one and pick this one up. Next day the driver delivered the new one, but refused to take the other one as he had not been instructed to do so. We had that box standing in the hallway for a year before I dared do anything with it, then I made that one up too and covered the chip with a pretty doyley... Their loss, I was honest from the start and had made three phone calls to get them to pick it up... |

ermmmmmmmm confession time. When we got tiddler a bed guard me and eldest went to town to get it and I struggled back to the car with it thinking blimey these have got a lot heavier than the last time I got one. At home opened the box and they had given me a box of 3 not just one. Heres the confession bit I kept one, Gave one to mum and dad to use at theirs and took the other back and got a refund. |
