High cholesterol isn't necessarily to do with your diet,it can run in families and the way to treat it is with cholesterol reducing tablets, so don't be alarmed. We all make cholesterol and the family thing means it can be made more readily than other people's. All the best Sunny Rosy

Have googled a bit and the words Heart attack ( Mum died of one and after doing her family tree it seems it runs in the family, and stroke, Dad has had two and his father had two, the second one combined with a heart attack finshed him off) Right going to tackle this head on and sort my diet out which is poor ( and I mean poor as I don't really eat much, I'm a grab it and run type ) and exercise is high on th list. Just done one of those predicu your death calculators - I have roughly 26 years left, it predicted death at 64 with my current lifestyle Joanne :((

You'd be surprised what they can tell and they do get it wrong as well. last test I had they said to get blood pressure tested as showing as being high went to nurse and it was normal. Get checked to be on safe side

They told my ex husband that. He had a white ring around the outside of the coloured part of the eye. That is the tell tale sign of high cholesterol. They can tell a lot from the eyes. Yellowing is a sign of liver problems, they can also tell high blood pressure too.

Dunno for sure but they can tell alsorts - even if you have yer monthly !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

tell you about your cholestral? Went for my routine eye test last week and she said I need to have a blood test as my cholestral maybe a bit high! She said I have too much white around my eyes. Now I'm quiet worried and have put off going for a blood test Joanne
