Ive got to agree with KayaLa - but then most of unis u have choosen have plenty of prestige. U know i stil like the idea of Edinburgh Uni - that would be my choice because the History there is soooo good

Hi Lucia I don't think we've ever spoken, but your post reminded me of when my friends and I were appling to uni. I went to an ordinary comp, and a good friend of mine at school was in the same position as you, as far as Oxbridge is concerned. He felt that he wouldn't fit in either. Despite that, he did apply, got in easily, and had the time of his life - he's never regretted it, and it still carries a lot of cred. Good luck with your choice, whatever it is. Sharon xx

Dinnae put yersel' doon Lassie. If you aim for the moon you may hit the top of the lamp-post. Aim at the top of the lamp-post and you might hit yourself in the foot. You don't know what you are capable of unless you try, and it is better to attempt and fail than not to attempt which is a worse way of failing. You go for it, and when you feel that it is getting too hard just remember 'Grampa believes I can do it!'

Wow..thanks for the advice, really appreciate it but I'm even more confused lol I'm just held back by a notion that I'm not good enough for anywhere oh well lol

Lucia delete your last but one input on this thread as you are good enough make yourself work hard the world is out there waiting for you I just wish that the opprotunities you have were there when I was young, so reach for the sky and remember education is only a short part of your learning and in future years you will be able to look back with pride good luck girl xxxxxHowie
