Tigers and Cheetahs are my favourite big cats. Elephants come a close second. Check out http://www(.)zionwildlifegardens(.)co(.)nz/conservation(.)html for a wonderful picture of a Royal White Tiger and her cubs. Michelle |

Hi Dave did you know At 2-3 years of age Bengal Tigers are fully grown and males reach 200-230 kg and up to 3 m in length; females weigh 130-170 kg and are up to 2.5 m long. The tail is about 0.9 m long. The orange-brown color with black stripes is not only on the Tiger's fur, but also on its skin. The belly is white with black stripes. Bengal Tigers have yellow irises and white Tigers have blue eyes. Also No two animals are the same; each Bengal Tiger has its own pattern of stripes. Such a pattern helps these animals hide in tall grass and trees. Bengal Tigers have an ability to grow or shed body hair according to the ambient temperature. At the back of the ears Bengal Tigers have white spots that look like eyes. White Bengal Tigers are very rare in the wild and are raised in the zoos. They are mutated animals from India; they are not albinos. Black Tigers, which are extremely rare, have little orange stripes on the black fur. And, stripeless Tigers have also been recorded Paul |

The World's Most Beautiful Animal is in my opinion definately a Horse.....They are sooooo Majestic. Having had horses and competing with them up until I was 21yrs old, and now due to moving house and not having the space for them I currently use livery stables.....I can most def say I know horses from all walks and they are just perfect, stunning creatures and riding them is such a wonderfully free & enjoyable experience. |

I love foxes, I think because of the colour of their coats and the way they move, and their faces. My second favourite is the otter....because it has a long sleek body, can move freely in water and has big eyes.....because of this, I also like other animals that look like otters, ie. weasels, mink, stoat and meercats.... I love horses, and was privileged enough to own three over the years....wonderful animals which taught me a lot... |
