Now what is a posh wedding?. usually people who have these have 'New money' and like to 'show it off' people like footballers, celebrities, show people...now, people with 'Old money', usually like to keep it low key....but it still shows that they have money, by the quality of the wedding. like the dress, the Champers, the Venue, the Weddings rings....the Honeymoon.....I think you can always tell, if their money is old or new, any views?....Lilly

Only once did I have the opportunity of attending a very posh wedding. lol Bride was a work acquaintance and from very rich family with famous uncles and aunties. Guest list was a who's who of some of the famous. Pulled into parking lot of private golf course parked beater cavalier (lots of rust) between a very nice mercedes and porche, then we were met by nice gent in golf cart and driven to the entrance of the club. teehee Diner bill alone was over $93,000. as I had the pleasure of seeing the bill a few weeks after. OMG. Hope daughter's idea of a wedding is within my pauper existence. lolol

The wedding i went to in June.........now was it poash?? Hmmm, the groom was ever so poash (well tried to be, but he's as common as us lot (his mates)......there was him playing the society groom part, whilst his bride was hitching up her dress to try and cut an itchy label out......saw all the next days washing lol. The best part had to be though.......she let out the most all mighty loud burp after her champers........his face was a picture lol. Im pleased to say, all of the weddings ive been to have been nice and not what i call stuck up lol.

Have you ever been to one? I have been to two now. The one this weekend, the couple had a firework display just for them on lake windemere. I'm more of a tater ash girl myself. With an elvis impersonator thrown in. Last year I went to some posh hall in cheshire, pims on the lawn and all that. What the poshes or not you have ever been to? catherine xx
