I think all of us that have lost someone feel a bit low around Christmas, I know I do. However, it was obvious how important 'special days' were to your mum, so hopefully you'll manage to enjoy Christmas - am sure its what she would want ? Paul x |

This year I'll have a photo of my FIL and nan with a candle by each, I'll light them first thing in the morning and make sure there is a lit candle there all day. I'm sure they'll be watching over us and looking down with a smile on their face as I'm sure June will also be watching over you and all your family. I know it won't be easy but please try to remember the happy times and when you think of her let it be with a smile on your face, I'm sure that is how they want to be remembered. ((((HUGS)))) Fiona. x |

Know exactly how you feel Gaynor having lost my Dad in October. He just keeps popping in my head and I'm feeling rather low too. All I can say is to try to remember that life doesn't stop for those left behind. Although it may be painful, try to remember them at this time laughing and enjoying themselves. They would not wish us to stand around with long faces or to stop enjoying the normal things that make up life. John Lennon had a classic line, Life is what happens to you when you are busy making other plans....this is the part of life that just 'happens' to you...don't put your 'other plans' on hold...she will always be with you, so honour your Mum by living a full life, as best you can...and cherish the memories you have of her....I do hope you raise a glass to June Christmas day and have a smile on your face as you remember the best of times past... Love and ((hugs))... Nanna-Moo xxx |
