I repeat what I said on another thread on this subject, I find it extremely difficult to believe that SO many coincidences all came together, in an engineered situation........the hotel, the decision to leave,, the restaurant ,the route, the 'drunk' driver, the car, not wearing seatbelts.... the tunnel, Bob

I have always believed it was just a terrible accident - like Princess Grace and Princess Astrid. 3 high profile ladies who all died in car crashes - the speculation goes on about all 3. Jay

Reggie - totally agree. Sadly, since the press got their hooks into the story early on, there will always be some that believe what they read in the daily rags - hence why its gone on and on and on... as you say, hopefully they'll let her rest now, but I can't see it somehow.

Mr Al Fayed has a huge axe to grind, because the UK won't grant him citizenship.......... Reg

If William and Harry are satisfied with the outcome, that's all that matters. Yes, I firmly believe it was an accident..........and it's time to let the poor woman rest. Reg

I was surprise by Mohammed Al Fyed's comments. He basically accused a high ranking royal and MI6 of giving out the order to have them includin his son killed. Do you reckon he meant Prince Charles? Very sweeping statement to make-bet the royal family ain't happy. catherine xx

I think there is something to hide but we will never know the truth. All I can say is let Diana rest in peace now. She would have been so proud of her eldest son today on his passng out parade. William and Harry are a credit to her. Mary in Spain

Yes I believe it was an accident, no I don't think there was a cover up.

Valice in Report 15 Dec 2006 15:20

On Diana's death, to my mind there seemed to be so much covering up going on, that if there was nothing to hide there would be nothing to cover up!! Whatever the verdict, it won't bring the poor woman back.
