I could not agree more Peter... Popcorn has a carming effect on people on this site you know..* nods head.* The pictures maybe for the town where I live...loony coucil ours and I used to work for them... Not in the PC office...lol

When it became legal for same sex marriages..the pc people decided to remove all pictures of couples marrying..from the walls of registers offices ...WHY... On my wedding day the last thing I look at was the pictures on the wall... Do you think at such a great time..that same sex couples could really give a dam about what pictures are on the ruddy wall ?

Who is in charge of the PC people...who comes up with PC ( pure crap ) stuff.... We can not have a giant Xmas in the town as it may OFFEND...or is it just an excuse by the coucil not to spend the money...

CHRISTMAS IS BLIGHTED BY PC KILL-JOYS AS we are just a week away from Christmas Day, could I just offer you Season's Greetings while I am still allowed to? Christmas kill-joys have issued guidelines to keep office parties politically correct. Most are aimed at not upsetting Muslims. One instruction is to approach raffles 'with caution' by ensuring you don't give away meat as a prize. So who are these people offended by Christmas? Well, I'm offended...by the waste of it all, the unnecessary expense, the pressure, and the excess. The religious aspect is the only thing that doesn't offend me. Instead of suppressing it, we should all be promoting it. What can be offensive about peace and goodwill to all men? Give me the carols, give me Midnight Mass. As for the meat, the only thing I want to meet is someone so offended they can't go to the office party and take part in the raffle in the first place! All this PC rubbish really hacks me off. What does PC stand for? Party-pooping Christmas? A Santa from Tipton has had to get a minder to protect him from the yobs. Then council bosses in North Yorkshire threaten to ban a village party unless the locals carry out a risk assessment on MINCE PIES. But the icing on the Christmas cake has to be the Royal Bank of Scotland. Scrooge managers have told staff it's just too dangerous to hang baubles and tinsel in the office and have banned all Christmas decorations. Bah humbug I hear you cry! So what's going on? Probably something to do with Christmas Elf and Safety regulations. Where will it all end? NO fairy on top of the tree in case it upsets the gay community? NO pulling crackers without safety goggles and fireproof gloves? NO kissing under the mistletoe for fear of ending up on a sexual harassment charge? And as for sitting on Santa's knee... A TV firm asked me to do a staff video message but play down any religious references in case of offence. The only person they offended was me. Needless to say they didn't get the message they were after. Yo ho ho!
