That's a nice thought Gwen. Its no better here in Norwich, the fog jsut isn't moving, and the forecast is that it probably won't until the weekend. The only good thing about it is that it is slightly muffling the noise of the traffic. Norwich airport has also cancelled all flights for now. I can't believe people are getting angry at the airports over this, what do they want?

I'm going to get angry at the airport tommorow if mother in law doesn't fly off into the wild blue yonder for christmas! Please pray for clean sparkling blue skies over luton tommorow! seriously - its a bit out of the airports hands really.cant folk understand that?

My OH has been working in Essex for the last few weeks and is driving home today. I really miss him but would rather him stay in digs and travel when the fog has cleared. Jackie

We have to drive to M Keynes tomorrow so hope it is going to lift a bit mid day. The trouble with bad weather is there is nobody to complain to or about. I guess the people trying to fly are a.) disappointed because they could have their Christmas plans ruined and b.) annoyed because there is, as usual, lack of communication. Ann Glos

They said on the news about the lack of information, but what can the airports tell them? They don't know when the fog will lift enough to make flying safe again. Its all guesswork, and there is nothing they or anyone else can do about it. I understand the frustration, but taking it out on airport staff who, in all probability know no more than they do, is not on. Imagine what would happen if they carried on as usual and a plane overshot the runway, or , heaven forbid, a crash! There would be a huge outcry then.

No He had to come back because the other blokes wanted to and they are travelling in the same van so he was out numbered. He is going to phone me when they pull over for a break. They started off at 5pm so it's going to be a long night with me worrying. Jackie
