And a Happy New Years Eve to you all, i hope you are well. Hubby and i ar supposed to be going out tonight to celebrate... but not so sure now.... we bought him some Mr Grumpy slippers for christmas as a joke... and he seems to be slipping( pun intended) into the role with gusto.. and i bet we dont go :((.... The weather here this morning is typically Welsh... rain.. wind .. and fresh.. well we have to keep those welsh hills green dont we ;)) |

GOOD MORNING PIPS.. LOL, I USED TO BE QUITE A GOOD ICE SKATER, SO THOUGHT I WOULD BE GOOD ON ROLLERBLADES... I TRIED MY DAUGHTERS ON ONE DAY.... AND COULDNT EVEN STAND UP! DAUGHTERS THOUGHT IT WAS HILARIOUS! |

No, Em. We need you over here. Are there any temporary ice rinks near you this winter? They are in several towns, I believe. You could practise there. All ages, shapes and sizes were skating in Winchester, when I was there just before Christmas. Gwyn |

Gwyn, we have the national ice centre (Wales) about 1/4 mile away from my house.. Number 3 daughter is in the national ice squad ( figure skating). though she has been off since Novenber since she broke her ankle.. should be back training next month.. we had to buy her new figure skates for christmas.. dont tell our other chilren but they cost the same as a third world country national debt! ( thats £300 to you and me!!) |

WHEN WE WERE KIDS, WE HAD HOURS OF FUN, SITTING ON A PIECE OF WOOD, BALANCED ON ONE OF OUR SKATES AND ROLLING DOWN THE HILL ON THEM. THIS WAS IN THE 60s, PRPYTPE FOR THE SKATEBOARD MAYBE ? LOVED WALKING ON STILTS AND THE POGO STICK HOW ABOUT ONE OF THOOSE LITTLE SCOOTAS EM ? PIPS XX |
