If they are there constantly, they are called residuals, Sometimes, though, you get the spirit of someone who once lived there happily, visiting the place. There is a case of the latter in the road where I live. Identified as Yvonne. I used to know her and her husband, Robbie, when they were alive about 20 years ago. len |

i have added to baz's threads a couple of times about things that keep hapening in my o h 's restaurant. i am quite interested in stuf like this. i am not sure when all this started happening but black shadows have been seen ion various places, ash trays have been dropped to the floor, chairs have been moved when chef went to sit down, another ash tray flew across the table hitting the young lad sat there. pots and pans have been clashes gently together in the empty kithchen and the worst thing was the young k p was thumped in the stomach whilst he was in the staff area (basement) getting changed. he would not go down there on his own for a few weeks. the bulding is very old andi have looked at past census reuturns and for about 30yrs the property was empty each time. as it was probably a seasonal building (only opening during the summer) i dont know how to find out, apart from directories who would live there. tina x |

I live in a 1930's flat, which used to be living quarters for medical staff at the old hospital behind us. We both often see shadows, and one day my OH 'saw' one clearly walk through the wall as though there was a door there, into next doors bedroom! The sightings are only very brief, out of the corners of ours eyes, and as soon as we look up at them , they are gone. It was a bit disconcerting when we first moved here, but we are used to it now. |

I live in a 1925 bungalow in Australia and are visited by an apparition. We think it is the original owner/builder of the house and he is just looking to see what we have done. My 8 year old daughter has seen him sitting on her bed and I have told her to tell him to leave her alone and that the house is fine and he vanishes. He is just happy to see a family in his house. Maybe the same with you. Regards, Heather |

Hi Lisa, yes a couple of times or so.. but having FM, i tend to put that down to my poor memory.. what have had though is the lounge door closing of its own accord a couple of times... normally it just sits still so to speak.. being quite flush at the bottom with the carpet.. |
