Hi everyone, Not been on for a while for various reasons.. best wishes to all...Just popped on to share mt big day with you It's my 60th birthday today and i know you will all send me your best wishes . Going to the Opera House in Manchester tonight to see Starlight Express and a meal to boot...looking forward to that, Tomorrow something has been planned by my sons all very secret but they have told me my hair app' has been changed from 9am to later ..don't ask questions mum but you'll enjoy what we've arranged.. But what will i need to wear then she asked trying to catch them off guard ...to no avaiil...Oh smart but casual was the answer, then you can get your hair done and dress up for the evening. Will let you all know what it was on monday... I'm making a weekend of the celebrations ... All the best Love to everyone Marion and family.X.... Well what a w/end i've had Friday caught the train to Man', went to the Turkish restaurant on Deansgate for a meal,,delicious can recomend it... then to the Opera House to see Starlight Express...wonderful but very loud...lol must be getting old .. then home for a relxing drink in my fluffy dressing gown. Saturday picked up and whisked off to Blackpool to a beauty parlour where i had full hand massage and manicure. then a facial and then an aroamatherapy{spell'} body massage including scalp it was bliss... i was then shampoo'd and blow dried to make me feel on top of the world . we then went to a little local cake that sold everything home madeI had chicken broth and roll.. the brith had barley in and it reminded me of the soup Mum used to make when i was little..yummy By this time 3.30 as we went back to the car i thought we would be making our way home But oh no. Blackpool airport was the next destination we arrived and had a drink in the clubhouse belonging to the club which do .....wait for it....FLYING LESSONS..... THE FAMILY HAD BOOKED ME A LESSON IN A TWIN SEATER CESSNA IT WAS BRILL I THROUGHERLY ENJOYED IT back home they said get dolled up the days not over yet off we went to a restaurant for a lovely meal. I have had a wonderful day thanks to all my sons and grandsons. Sunday i was taken to see the James Bond movie Casino Royale. very different to the tongue in cheek ladies man we are used to well worth watching. then we went to the Preston Chinese Buffet for eats, it's a new concept in dining they have all different food set out in stainless steel serving dishes on a long double sided warming service area{ thats the best way to describe it } They have set prices but you can eat all you want, go back as many times as you like.. but if you don't leave an empty plate when you've finished you incur a £3 penalty for being too greedy. well worth a visit really enjoyable..Bak down to earth now as it's back to work this morning... I WANT TO TAKE THE OPPORTUNITY TO SAY A VERY BIG THANKYOU TO ALL FOR MY BIRTHDAY WISHES SO... *********************THANKYOU EVERYONE************************ MARION.X |
