Trish, would have loved to have heard you!!! I know what it means cos it is on a site about the Norfolk accent, and much as I try to sound posh, I still have one!! Have been taken for an Australian years ago when I was in London, and my dad came from Buckinghamshire so always had a little difference but my mum was born and bred in Norwich and I have spent most of my life here. Liz who is becoming more and more like a dumpling and a Norfolk one at that! |
