Yes, although I had an enforced break when mum was ill over Xmas. I am trying to roughly 'do' f-i-l's side at the moment - for my kids - then I have a ton of info still to input for my own tree, from RO visits last year. I can't get to RO very often, but when I do I have a full day there and get as much stuff as I can written down - takes ages to input it all and follow it through though. I am at the stage now of revisiting each branch in light of the different resources now available - it seems to be working and those brick walls are getting chipped away! Maz. XX |

Yes, I am researching, although hit a couple of very thick brick walls at the moment. I am also writing my own life story for the use of the Grandschildren later on. I come on here for 'light'?? relief in between doing FH. Ann Glos |

I joined GR to try and find a half-brother ( its a long story ) thought my family was very small, but through g.r. have found loads of direct rellies. Hit a brick wall like so many but kept trying and I'm now in touch with a cousin in Canada who was born in India. lol. It gets very complicated but I shall keep at it. My o.h. bought me a FTM for Crimbo so being computer illiterate I am trawling my way through it. Lin x |

I feel that I'm actually just tidying up loose ends, making sure sources are properly recorded on FTM, inputting the details on the website I'm designing. It feels like a long time since I've found a proper ancestor (rather than their descendants) Cannot believe I'm saying this, I miss going to the record office and searching for hours through the microfilm and microfiche searching for an ancestor's census records. lol |

I am very serious about it, I have to say that most of my information is on my own web site, not on here. I have my moments of being lazy about it,but once I get back into it I do rather well:-)) |
