Dawn, you are exactly right. I've spent my entire life feeling a bit on the outside because of my left hand - for instance, I eat with my fork in my right hand (and yes, when I go to restaurants, I do swap the cutlery round). I hated netball at school because one of the activities was to be in three teams and each team member had to bounce the ball to the end of the yard and back (I was the one chasing the ball everywhere). I've never been able to skip (I don't remember, but my mum recalls one sports day when I was tiny when I was last in the skipping race and the other parents were laughing and she was furious but I never noticed). I could never play the recorder (as a result, I never really learnt to read music, but I hated the recorder anyway). You'd think if somebody's had to spend their life dealing with things like these (and I know people out there are going to be far worse off than me), the least manufacturers could do would be to not make you feel different when you want to go underwear shopping.

Try www.lessbounce*com. They mainly do sports bras, but also have normal ones. I have 2 front fastening sports bras from them - you may find sports bras more comfortable too. Liz

Dizzy thanks will go and look. Howie might look a bit stupid trying to load mine into a washing machine and carrying them out front all day, mind you would be fun seeing what happened when it went to spin.

Hi Dawn Probably not much help, but I have a similar problem in that I can just about manage to reach round and do bras up, but my shoulders and ribs ache from wearing them. I had a sudden brainwave and bought some sports bras. Although they're back fastening, I don't find them difficult to do up and they're much more comfy to wear. They are by Berlei from Debenhams. Mandy :) PS: Just read back properly and see that Liz has recommended sports bras too lol (great minds). I'm going to look at the website she suggests too!

Hi Dawn These ones aren't wired. I much prefer wired ones but have had to give up on them, hurts too much to wear them. Mandy :)
