Well the time has come peeps to bow out. I have a couple of days of subscription left and shalln't be renewing. I joined Genes back in Jan 2003 when we were little old Genes Connected !! I've had heaps of fun finding my family tree. Thanks to the Genes facility I have connected to family members I'd have otherwise never found. Due to the generosity of these people I now have photos of my Grandparents wedding that I'd never seen before :~) But all good things come to an end, and I've gottten about as far as I feel the need to with my tree (C.1700 on one side!!) I proudly took my part in the Gaynor Bear Relay, and though I never made it to any of the meets, I felt priviliged to have been inspired by Gaynor - what a strong lady. There have been happy times & laughs here with people I class as friends, so I'd like to say tarra specifically to Mommy Longlegs, Strump, The wonderful Pink Diana, Roxanne, Linda McD, and lastly (if anyone knows where they went and how they are) Bec & Steedy who made me laugh. I'll still be about on Strunp's Support Site, and am happy to help folks where I can. Sadly Genes has become a victim of its own success. It's grown too big to function without proper moderation. Sadly as a company they seem only to care about their income and not the full customer experience... which is open to allowing people to abuse other members. That is a wholy unacceptable situation which I no longer wish to support financially. Maybe one day they'll wake up and smell the coffee, but I wouldn't hold my breath. Keep your Anti Virus updated ;~) and be nice to one another.... life's too short and too fragile to be filled with hate and negativity. With love, light & smiles. Adieu XXX Sioux

I will really miss you Sioux. Thank you for your support and helpful computer hints. It was great to meet you last year and I have lovely photo's to remind me of our time together. I renewed last September but doubt if I will again. Take care and drop me the occasional message I will always be pleased to hear from you. Love Linda x
