I cannot believe one individual has caused so much hurt to this board! As yet, I've seen no one condone what he/she said about Donna. Dawnie, you've nothing to worry about. Please don't let this get to you. :-) Think instead of all the people that you will help by organising this treasure hunt game!

Dawnie, No one would question your honesty. As 'keeper of the clock' I can certainly vouch for your sincerity and total honesty. Just keep being you - you are a lovely, caring and genuine person. Gwynne x

Dawn, as you may know, I have not had internet connection at home since the beginning of January, so I have no idea what has been happening. I agree with others' posts that you do not need to justify yourself. I like to use the following as my signature sometimes:- Be true to yourself and believe in what you do and stick to it. Never explain - your friends do not need it, and your enemies will not believe you anyway.

Well said Joy - no one should have to justify themselves - the doubters will always find an excuse and the best policy is to ignore.

I dont know what has been going on..mother-inlaw in hospital and I have been away on and off since a week past friday....when I first joined you were one of the first poeple I got a pm from...in my book you are a very kind , friendly and humain lovely woman(ok..young girl).so forget what the idiots are saying..and carry on as normal...they have no-one else to think bad of this week..so you are the target...dont let it bother you...no doubt it will be someone else next week....might even be me...let them bring it on....water off a ducks back.....take care best wishes to you and you'rs Sally xxx

Dawn, like everyone who saw that dreadful thread the other night I was horrified at the vitriol that came from 1 person who obviously was not brave enough to use his/her own name. I've just recently come back as a paid member to the site after 2 years because of similar sorts of things that went on back then. A lot of people were hurt by a few who made accusations behind assumed names. The dictionary defines Charity as, 1 The giving of help, money etc to those in need, 2 organization for doing this, ( as far as I can see that's you Dawn) 3 the money etc given. 4 Love, kindness, 5 disposition to think kindly of others. It seems to me you and Donna have fulfilled all that and more. There's nothing there that says you have to have a big flash office and spend a fortune of the money folk give to help others on 'admin etc' like some of the 'Big Charities' do or be issued with a number. Keep up your good work and don't let 1 sad jealous person spoil everything you do. Daphne xxx

Dawn, I don't see that you or Donna or in fact anyone else needs to explain your actions. Some poor person, who is in need of our pity, made some silly allegations the other night. I didn't see one person support that person. I feel sorry for whoever it is because something is lacking in them, it's not normal behaviour. So please get on with your good works and try not to take to heart the ramblings of an obviously disturbed person. Susan xx

Dawn, you have nothing to worry about or feel bad about - you gave your time and energy to do something for others, and no one should have a go at you or anyone else over the money, it is not squandered, it can be used for good work done by Donna's site helping others. Anyone who says there is a problem, is a jealous halfwit who wouldn't know kindness and compassion for others if it came up and smacked them in the face, which is what they deserve for the upset they have tried to cause. Keep up the good work, Dawn, and stay the same as you always are, a true good Samaritan and friend to all. Liz x

Hi Dawn :):) I hope you do not mind me adding this here also. As I see things you have no reason to explain yourself over this at all. Hold you head up proud dont let things get to you Hi All I do not generally add to these type of threads but there comes a time when something really does need to be said and for me that time is now. Like Jim and many others I have been around since the very early stages of this site. I have seen jelousy and backstabbing in action both on and off the site and never got involved for fear of upsetting other good people who often support me in what I do. But I am appalled that just how low somethings can get. Ive been there for three years Ive been there, jelousy behind the scenes, constantly putting people down just because they try to do something good for people. Some people just do not know what is good for them, yes there are genuine people out there willing to work our butts off for nothing just to help you. Can you not see beyond your noses sometimes or do you not have a mind of your own to make your own opinions of people. Its disgusting to see grown ups acting in this type of manner. No I dont have to become involved and no i dont have to read the threads thats my perogative to, But for petes sake start to make up your own minds what it is you want, get off the helpful good peoples backs and start to enjoy life again, As I see this, money was raised for a good cause and it is being used on a good cause with the agreement of all involved. Dawn , why is it when people like yourself and others do good turns they are slagged off--maybe not the right word but you know what I mean. Others have collected for sick people and comments have been made. You have a heart of gold like others who have their own medical problems to content but still think of others.
