Daughter has been through six months chemo for Hodkins Lymphoma.Wasnt a great experience !!! she had the all clear end Nov and has her first 3 month checkup tomorrow. She will need check ups 3 months time then six months x two, then yearly to five years when it can be said 'cured!! Need to hold it together for the first check up as am worried !!! altho she says she feels great. SO positive thoughts please cos I.m panicking I Think !!! Thanks McAnne, Catherine, & Jenni Well I cant let on to her I.m scared can I cos I need to hold it together like the last time so she can feel Mum isnt worried and she can cope. What worries me tho is she has said she couldnt do the chemo thing again. All digits crossed now!! Shirley |

Lots of positive thoughts for the check up, and hope all is well, and continues to be good. I am sure your daughter means it about the chemo right now, but if push came to shove, later down the line, she might decide to go through it again. Don't worry too much about the future, enjoy the time now she has her life back. Liz |
